Schlander Campbell has been employed at Boston Medical Center since 1998 as an x-ray technician. She has been chief union Delegate for the past five years. “In August of 2008, I worked as an administrative organizer representing BMC. That was an awesome experience because I was also able to work on the Obama campaign and it was great to know that I helped make history!

“I believe in having a voice and fighting for what’s right. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. I am truly a hard worker as well as an advocate for the people. I am well known for having my plate overloaded with activities.

“I am currently participating in the Leaders in Training program. I am definitely a leader. The program is awesome because through it, I was able to conquer one of my fears: public speaking. I believe the more informed you are, the more helpful you can be.
