Letoya Coner works at Rock Glen as a Dietary Aide. She has been there for 5 to 6 years. She is an artist, she draws on her lunch breaks at work and whenever else she has free time.

She attended Carver Votech School and majored in Commercial Art. She specializes in African American Art with a focus on the African American family. Currently she does artwork for family members and other individuals who request her pieces. Recently she participated in a Women’s Event at her church where she was able to showcase her collection.

She is currently looking for funding so she can pursue her plans of expanding her artwork into greeting cards and t-shirts. She is also working on a piece that is reflective of the older generation in the Rock Glen nursing home.
